Should you need any other assistance, please speak with a staff member who will facilitate your request(s).      We make every attempt to schedule routine appointments as soon as possible. Emergencies are scheduled immediately. If you feel the need to be seen prior to your scheduled appointment, please ask the secretary to discuss your situation with an Assistant and/or Doctor. Office visits are by appointment only. Our office hours vary from day-to-day, however we generally see patients from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. If you will be unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please notify our office within a reasonable amount of time. This courtesy will allow for both rescheduling and possibly provide another patient with timely access. When you reach the office, please inform the secretary of your arrival. Please attempt to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment, allotting appropriate time for completing necessary paperwork. Your time is very important to us and we make every attempt to stay on schedule. However, sometimes emergencies arise, which may delay your appointment time. Despite our best efforts, some patient visits require more time than anticipated. Therefore, feel free to contact the office one hour prior to your appointment to minimize your waiting time.      We participate with Medicare, Worker's Compensation, and multiple other insurance companies. In addition, other payment arrangements may be made by speaking with our Billing Representatives. Most often, contact lenses are not covered by insurance. However, we encourage you to check with your insurance company (prior to seeing us) to determine if an authorization is required and what portion, if any, will be your responsibility. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We will also provide you with receipts, which you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.      At the time of your visit, please provide a list of current medications including: name of the medication, strength, dosage, and frequency. Please mention any ophthalmic medications requiring a refill at the time of an office visit. We will provide you with a written prescription or, should you unexpectedly run low, we will gladly call the refill(s) into your local pharmacy. We also offer a wide variety of contact lenses on site. Additionally, we can order and receive other lenses not stocked in our office within a couple of days, most often without shipping and handling charges.
